2010 Resident’s Prize Awardee is Announced<\/h2>\n

Dr. Eskandari<\/p><\/div>\n

Every year, the Hydrocephalus Association awards a resident\u2019s prize<\/strong><\/a> in neurology\/neurosurgery<\/strong> to the most promising research paper relating to hydrocephalus<\/strong>.\u00a0 The paper is presented at the Pediatric Section meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons\/Congress of Neurological Surgeons<\/strong> (AANS\/CNS).<\/p>\n

The prize for 2010 went to Ramin Eskandari<\/strong>, MD, MS, for his paper:\u00a0 \u2018Effects of Early and Late Reservoir Treatment in Experimental Neonatal Hydrocephalus<\/strong>\u2019.
\nThe prize is awarded by a panel of experts from the AANS\/CNS Pediatric Section<\/strong> and reflects the opinions of some of the best minds in pediatric neurosurgery and related disciplines.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to Dr. Eskandari and all of the candidates this year.\u00a0 They reflect the best and most forward-thinking elements of the neurological community as well as our hopes for better treatment options and eventually, perhaps, a cure for hydrocephalus.<\/p>\n\r\n
