Genetic counseling can be an important part of care for some individuals and families affected by hydrocephalus, yet many are unsure what it involves or whether it is right for them. This educational webinar will provide an overview of genetic counseling in the context of hydrocephalus, beginning with basic genetics concepts, reviewing what is currently understood about the genetics of hydrocephalus, and explaining what patients and caregivers can expect from a genetics evaluation and genetic testing process.
