Ralph Kistler Research Internship

Established in 2021, this internship is for undergraduate college students who are interested in biology, neuroscience, public health, engineering, and/or non-profit operations.

Work hours: Flexible hours but must commit to 30 hours/week

The Hydrocephalus Association is seeking applicants for the Ralph Kistler Research Internship. The internship is for undergraduate college students interested in the sciences, public health, engineering, non-profit operations, and/or related fields.

Under the guidance of the Hydrocephalus Association Research Programs Manager, the intern will be involved with specific research projects and activities that advance the mission of the Association. These projects and activities may be related to the HA patient-powered registry (HAPPIER), the HA Network for Discovery Science (HANDS), and/or other initiatives of the Association. In addition, the intern may be involved with developing blogs and other research communications geared toward the hydrocephalus community, interact with community members, clinicians, and scientists who support the Association, and aid in research grant cycles.
